Prehistoric Garden

Set within the grounds of a former rectory in Yorkshire, the project transforms a disused stone barn into new spaces for dining, entertaining and work. The design reinterprets the site’s existing stone walls adding stepped geometric forms inspired by ruined structures, alongside a prehistoric planting scheme of ferns and horsetails that reinforces the sense of antiquity.
